“Floral Arrangements” (Design Inquiry Amsterdam) Monoprints
Once seen as weeds, the flora found in the urban environment are captured in these prints. The plant material was used as both stencil and printed directly using an etching press, sometimes in multiple passes, The blue prints use ink, while, the ones on the pink and yellow background are direct impressions from the plants on carbonless copy paper.
